2. Information collected and why
Online-edition waitlist
When you join the online-edition waitlist, we collect your name, email address and professional role. We use this information only to record your interest and contact you when information or registration for an online edition becomes available. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Workshop registration and payment
When you purchase a place through Stripe, information required to process the payment, administer your booking, communicate about the workshop and meet accounting or legal obligations is processed. The applicable legal bases are the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and compliance with legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.
Calls booked through Calendly
If you book a conversation, Calendly processes the contact and scheduling information you provide. We use the booking details to arrange and hold the requested conversation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before potentially entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Calendly also processes information under its own privacy terms.
Messages and workshop administration
If you contact us directly, we process the information contained in your message to respond and administer our relationship. Depending on the context, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating the workshop under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Recipients and service providers
Personal data may be processed by service providers supporting website hosting and database storage, payment processing, scheduling, email and professional administration. These include the infrastructure used to operate this website, Stripe for ticket payments and Calendly for appointment scheduling. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or public authorities when legally required. Personal data is not sold.
4. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard recognised by the GDPR. Further information about provider-specific transfers is available in the privacy notices of Stripe and Calendly or by contacting us.
5. Retention
Online-waitlist information and the related consent record are retained for no longer than 12 months from the latest submission, unless you withdraw consent earlier. Booking communications are retained only as long as necessary to administer the workshop and resolve related enquiries. Transaction and invoice information is retained for the period required by Luxembourg accounting and tax law.
6. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR and applicable conditions, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
To exercise your rights or withdraw from the waitlist, email ana@daretoembracechange.lu.
7. Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).
8. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the workshop, service providers or processing activities change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
